Improving your property before selling
My approach starts with targeted improvements before marketing. Depending on the property, these may increase the sale price by tens or hundreds of thousands of shekels, or more; no increase or result is guaranteed.
Improve before you market
Instead of listing the property as it is, ask what the right buyer would pay for it and what currently prevents that. Targeted improvement is not necessarily an expensive renovation.
- Check unused potential: building rights, an extra room, balcony, parking or storage — only after professional verification.
- Repair defects that buyers immediately notice.
- Use staging, lighting and order so buyers can picture living there.
- Prepare professional photographs, visualisations and a clear floor plan.
- Compare improvement costs with a realistic possible gain.
Higher expenditure does not guarantee a matching increase in value.
